Wayne Armond
Wayne Armond has many years of experience in Jamaican bands, playing the hits of the day and backing local music heroes such as the Wailers, Ken Boothe, Delroy Wilson, Derrick Harriott, Marcia Griffiths, Roy Shirley, and many others who went on to become international stars.
Armond is a co-founder of Chalice which had a number of hit songs during the 1980s and 90’s including I Still Love You, Good to be There, and Revival Time. He also toured as a guitarist with Jimmy Cliff and Monty Alexander. Wayne is now thrilling audiences all over as he performs as a “one-man band”...well not really... it’s more like “one man and technology”. He delivers performances that sound like he is with his seven-piece band.
